Brilliant

A diamond stands for durability and eternity, as well as elegance, because no other gemstone reflects so much light or sparkles so strongly. Therefore, wedding rings with brilliants are always very popular. Whether a single sparkling stone or an interplay of small and large brilliants, whether finely strung together or in filigree curved lines: wedding rings with diamonds are the most popular models.

SMALL 1 x 1

Around these small stones full of fire and brilliance there are many myths. Enclosed you will find some facts about diamonds:

QUALITY

The quality and thus the price of a diamond is made up of the weight, cut, colour and purity of the stone.

CARAT

The weight is measured in carats (ct) and corresponds to 0.2 g for one carat.

CUT

Of shapes and fineness of cut, there are almost as many facets as there are facets on a diamond. The most popular, however, is the brilliant cut shown below

COLOUR

Colour and purity of a diamond are measured in scales. The spectrum of purity ranges from “FL” (pure as a magnifying glass) to “P3” (visible inclusions). The colour, on the other hand, ranges from “D” (very fine white +) to “Z” (tinted 5/yellow). You can find the qualities used by Rauschmayer here:
